Improving my writing

I am hopeful that during this course, my writing has gotten better. I still make grammar errors and sometimes I can see my run-ons sentences. I think that I have cut them down to a mininal. Writing this paper has been an adventure because, I was constantly trying to figure out where I wanted to go and how I wanted to talk about something so close to me. I hope that I have done a pretty good job explaining and telling things that I did not know and talking about things I did know. All and all this paper was a good experience. I do think that I need to continue practicing doing thesis statements to help my writing improve even more.

  1. Hello Susan,

It sure is a learning experience... hang in there!

I see you call yourself a "late bloomer in college" I too have started at the age of 45 after almost 30 years of being in a classroom it has been quite an adjustment.

But, I felt it is worth it to persue a degree in Nutrition Science so that I can help others understand the importance of proper nutrition.

Good luck with your education and career journey.

    What is your education/career goal?

  2. Hello Mary,

I am 39 years old and I am getting a degree in Medical Transcription. I have always wanted to do this kind of work but never thought that I would have the opportunity.

After I receive my degree, I have thought about pursuing my other interest which is Radiology.

At this stage of my life it is hard to believe that there are so many opportunities out there.

Nutrition Science seems very interesting. We all need help with proper nutrition.

    Good luck to you.
