How online classes has helped me.
Online classes are beneficial to me because it allows me to stay home with my two year old daughter. I also like the flexible schedule that I have. I am taking two classes. One at 8pm and one at 10pm. I make sure my daughter is sleep so that I can focus on the class. The same benefit that a person can get from face to face they can get from face to computer. You are able to ask questions and participate in the classes. Anytime you have a question for the professor you can email or even get on aim during their hours and talk to them. Mostly what I like about online classes is that you are mostly on your own. You are responsible for getting on the computer and doing the work. Sometimes the work is easy and sometimes the work is hard. But, I would not have it any other way. Challenges are a good thing. Blogging is a good way for the class to become closer. It is a good way to reach out to each other and communicate.

I know how you feel, I have my classes set up the same way to work around my 13 month old. He goes to bed and I can go to classes or on non seminar nights I can do random work like DB's, this blogging stuff, reading, studying, and research for papers. I love the flexibility of being able to work around all of my children.
